We have a christmas competition at work, different each year.

This year we all have to put together a list of people we would invite to a dinner party. And then we have to guess who's list is whose.

So, who would you invite to a dinner party? And Why?

Alive, dead (erm, I mean, you can invite dead people, but unless you specify, I will assume that they are alive once again) or fictional.

In an antidote to the previous blah postings, I'm getting a commendation at work tomorrow, for being generally ace...

But it does mean I've got to do Ironing and polishing and stuff before I go up before the Admiral... or the warrant officers will be most unimpressed, and I'll never live it down :-)

It’s been an odd couple of weeks. Seemed to be really busy at the same time as not getting anything done.

Feeling a bit of a lack of keen for LRP also, which is odd. Bit of a novelty to be frank. If someone wants to froth at me an re-keen me feel free.

Trying to save money for a ski holiday and frankly failing horribly. But having people over on Friday and going out Saturday night till the early hours was a lot of fun. It’s always nice to play host.

Also last week turned into an “Irish week” with me even going to the lengths of listening to an old band I favoured called “Picture House”. Never heard much about them so assume they didn’t get a big break. Shame. Heck I even watched Riverdance (yes the full stage version) again.

One last thing... Dragon Age Origins rocks.

I got all the presents I wanted which is extra awesome :)
Matty made me the Largest carrot cake ever..It wa so sweet :)

Thomas took me somewhere as a surprise and It turned out we were going laser questing and bowling wth friends...
sadly thomas forgot to book the laser quest so we jsut went bowling :(

When I got home tom's mum had thrown a big partyfor me with a sweet chilli themed buffet ( MY ABSOLUTEFAVOURITE)
We then went clubbing which kinda failed....
The clubs mainly consisted of scantily clad ladies shaking their genitals at ugly men...

How desperate?

But yeah...
I dont think I've ever felt so special...
So it won...

Now I just need to fill my new 8GB Ipod with music and It turns out I only really listen to florence and the machine....

Friday: Went to homebase, Matt treated me to some gorgeous glass baubles as an early christmas present. Went to ASDA. Got back at 9.00pm. Cooked tea, set up tree. went to bed at 2.00am

Saturday: Went into town, the German market is back now. Ran into Lex, Suzanne, & Mike. Went home, made tea, went to Johnson arms to meet up with Chris/Ex Varenheim as he's moved back into notts. Much, much, much, pub sillyness & pub fun ensued. Went to bed at 2.00am

Sunday: Cleaned flat from top to bottom & finished putting Xmas decorations up. This took 4 hours in total. Parents came round. Parents went home & Jen came around. Finished 1 sewing project & started another. Went to bed at 11.30.

I'm knackered but it was avery enjoyable & productive weekend! :)

So been out a lot, my french is slowly improving, much due to the amount of pool im playing and drinking with the frenchies, is all pretty cool. Shaved off stupid mustache on saturday night after our Mo party and being a bolivian drug dealer, complete with huge bags of flower...

continues to be a bit crazy party like, but work looks like its sorted have been doing some translation into welsh(!) and changing scripts and all sorts of fun stuff, and now looks like our telephone lines are fixed at last so can start exploring the world and getting people to sign up and make me some money

spent quite a bit of time in the pub this weekend, footballs, pool, parties and free food was good. Also bought my ski pass yesterday and we've had a massive snowfall overnight, about 35cm so far with about the same forcast through the day...all the way down to the valley floor looks pretty amazing and huge huge snowflakes are falling everywhere, went out in it this morning to get milk n made me all happy to be here

He's ok though, but what a monday morning!

Another weeks starts and with it more things to do it seems. Have finally managed to get the wallpaper off the living room which is good - one wall was incredibly awkward. The whole thing took about 6 hours, but I just seemed doomed to be distubed everytime I tried to start it. I have mostly been able to complete my other tasks too, including sorting out annual gas safety certificate, boiler check etc on house in Trevethin which British gas made incredibly awkward.

Tuesday brings the start of advent which is both exciting and scary as I have not done anywhere near enough to get ready for Christmas.

...has landed. I made it to Nick's birthday, which I'm very very glad about, but today was strictly sofa-bound and tomorrow is shaping up to be similar. Thankfully Dan is still healthy, and trying to make me laugh. Well, laughter is the best medicine. I just hope the effects kick in soon.

Just joined an Ariellah fan group on Facebook and found out that she got married on the 9th of September this year! 09.09.09!

It's friday. Why am I still working, even though I've gone home. This is stupid

Its pay day. But I've forgetten my purse. This means no lunch, no going to the bead shop on my lunch break, no bus pass...So much for being organised & bringing my shopping bags to go straight to the supermarket after work too!

I'm already hungry enough to rag someones leg off & roast it. I get angry when I'm hungry & I've had another delightful morning at work. Today every manager under the sun in our department is either off, sick, or in back to back meetings today. Every manager under the sun in other departments has been trying to get hold of them, or better still get vexed at me & try & get me to do stuff I don't have the authority to do.

Fucking great.

I hate the day I decided to go back to studying.
I hate this course.
I really hate the last two modules.
I detest my coursework, which I'm supposed to submit tomorrow for proof reading and on Monday -the final version.
I've never been so unprepared for a mock exam in my life - that's this Saturday.
And I still don't see how I'll manage to pass the real exam next Friday.
I've had enough...lost all motivation for this course...

Я ненавижу этот курс.
И особенно ненавижу последние два предмета.
Меня воротит от моей курсовой, которую завтра надо сдать на предварительную проверку и в понедельник - законченную версию.
Я в жизни не была так неготова к пробному экзамену - это в субботу.
И понятия не имею, как я буду сдавать последний экзамен в следующую пятницу.
Надоело...никакой мотивации учиться не осталось...

Phew taking a break from taking off wallpaper from walls. Its a lot easier with a steamer, but still not easy enough damnit! Stupid busy life is getting in way of movie watching as well - I now have 3 films gathering dust that I would like to watch so I can send them back off and get another 3. Meh, its not really that much of an issue to be honest.

So close to Christmas now, trying to work out when I will be able to do some Christmas shopping???? I had done it all but cos of so many birthdays since first bout of shopping I am nearly back to where I started!

Just had bloods back - they are clear so it's definately IBS.
